There was so much happening in October (including an AMAZING trip to Toronto that we'll have to revisit later), we didn't want to skip over some random moments.
Jackson made sure to write "thank you" notes for all his birthday presents. My Mom always taught me & Wendy the importance of letting people know your appreciation and I can only hope Jackson will grow up understanding the same thing. For now, he helps out by adding his special coloring skills to each thank you note.
Jackson took his VERY FIRST bike ride on the little Radio Flyer Daddy and I got him for his birthday.
As the weather cooled, Diva enjoyed snuggling up in a big blanket next to me on the office floor...
Jackson discovered his loved of smushed-up blackberries...although he did NOT love the scrubbing Mommy gave him to get them off his face. :-)
We attended our neighbors' dual birthday party. Benjamin turned 3 and Sebastian turned 5 - with an awesome movie-themed party, complete with giant movie screen on their lawn!!
Jackson found a quiet spot with "his" Abbie...
...but they were quickly joined by Benjamin and Sophie. The more, the merrier, right?! Although, Jackson didn't look so thrilled that others crashed his Abbie time. HA!
There was lots of yard work to be done as we prepared for the winter, and Jackson was more than happy to help rake the leaves...
Daddy's been working out a lot lately, but on his "off" days, Jackson tries to help him keep in shape. :-)
And one final cute video. Auntie Wendy & Uncle Matt gave Jackson an awesome baseball tee/stand for his birthday. He's gotten better at using it, but the first few times, he just loved running after the balls!
