And we're back! Just in time for HALLOWEEN!!

Yes, we're FINALLY back! Hard to believe I've missed almost an entire year of blogging. And yet the year has flown by!

So, let's start with my FAVORITE time of the year...the holidays! In my mind, that kicks off with Halloween!!

1st thing to do? DECORATE!!

But before I could even get all the decorations up, Jackson found the "BIG SPIDERS" I bought and we decided to have a little fun with them. :-)

My Mom helped me make several of our decorations (I found some great ideas on Pinterest!). We painted craft pumpkins with sparkly paint...

And made "monster eyeballs" for the bushes..

It was Anil's job to hang the lights and soon enough, the decorations were complete!

Next up: picking out a pumpkin! Our church had a huge pumpkin patch, and the proceeds benefited the youth program (very nice perk!), so after church services one Sunday, we headed out to the patch to pick out a couple of good ones. Jackson had fun trying to pick up the biggest ones and shouting "SO HEAVY!!" at the top of his lungs!

Soon, the big day was here. And we had perfect weather! Jackson got to wear his costume...Tigger!...to school, too, as they had a parade of costumes. Daddy & I went to see him and all his classmates parade around. It was so cute! Not many pictures, though, as those kids move SO fast...everything turned out blurry!! :-)

We picked Jackson up a little early from school so he could have a quick dinner before heading out into the neighborhood. Have we mentioned that we LOVE our neighbors?! Almost everyone was handing out candy this year and the kids are all so awesome.

We made sure to get a few photos before the trick-or-treating began.

Then, Jackson headed down the street with Daddy...Mommy following behind with the camera, of course!

First stop: Mrs. Carol's house - she's always so excited to see Jackson, so we thought it was the best place to start. And what did she give out? M&Ms! It doesn't get any better for our Jackson!

After that, Jackson was off and running. He quickly got the hang of knocking on the door, saying "Trick or Treat" and, of course, "Thank you!"

To finish off this awesome holiday, we wanted to take a look back at our little man. We can hardly believe how much he's grown since his very 1st Halloween! We love you so much, Superman/Dinosaur/Tigger!! :-)
