On Sunday morning, we made sure to Skype with the kids' grandparents as soon as breakfast was over. It was hard to keep them all in one place (VERY BUSY KIDS!), but it was still a lot of fun.
Before the day really got going, Audrey took some time to hang out with Diva...
My Mom came over to spend the day with us...she hadn't seen the Toronto crew for a very long time! She helped us with our big art project for the day!! First, we painted the pumpkins we'd bought the day before. Audrey was a fan of the pink paint, of course. :-)
After we painted our pumpkins, we painted little wooden masks I'd picked up at the craft store. We had some witches, kittens and little boy faces. My Mom painted Jackson's pumpkin and mask for him, since we didn't quite trust him with the paint!
Look at us with our finished masks...quite beautiful, huh?!
And here are our finished pumpkins...YAY!! On the back row are Violet's, Audrey's and Louise's; on the front row are mine & Jackson's.

After all that painting, we were hungry! And what better way to celebrate than chocolate chip cookies?! Audrey helped us pour the chips into the batter....

Jackson has never liked any sweet we've given him, but the second he tried one of the cookies, he was hooked! He ate the whole thing and kept asking for "more, please"...
After cookies, the kids were ready to play! Jackson had some fun in front of the camera with his Chachi...
For dinner, we cooked out hamburgers. "Firewoman" Audrey made sure everything stayed safe in the backyard...
