Our family get-together: Part 2

Day 2 of our family get-together started bright and early...no sleeping late for the little ones! :-)

Before we headed out for a big trip to the North Georgia mountains, Jackson and Audrey enjoyed some time "flirting" at the kitchen table.

After breakfast, we all piled in the car and started our road trip up north.

On the ride up, the kids had fun "talking" to each other.

And THEN they had fun singing together! So, so cute!!



About an hour later, we arrived at Burt's Pumpkin Patch. There were pumpkins EVERYWHERE!! And they were all different colors and sizes. The kids all did some posing among the pumpkins...cutie pies!


Jackson and Audrey held hands while they made their way through the pumpkins...

Everyone was hungry for lunch by the time we arrived. Luckily, they had a little concessions area, so we grabbed some BBQ sandwiches and had a picnic. Jackson LOVED his 1st taste of BBQ!


Before we left, the kids took a little more time to frolic among the pumpkins. Jackson and Vila were quite good at crawling all over them. :-)


On the way home, we made a quick stop at a nearby apple orchard. We got a whole bag of apples to bring home and the girls all got homemade ice cream...peach for me & Louise; chocolate for Audrey. Yummy!

Back at home, after a nap, the kids all played together in the backyard. Vila enjoyed picking flowers and posing with them...

And Louise & I grabbed a quick picture with Audrey...Vila wasn't interested in sitting still long enough to pose with us. :-)

We'd planned on cooking out for dinner, but after a day of travel, we were all tired...so pizza quickly became our dinner of choice! We were all in bed early again (the adults by 9:30!). What a great day!
