On Monday morning, we all woke up excited for our trip to the Georgia Aquarium!
It was such a joy to watch the pure wonderment on the kids' faces and in their voices when they first saw all the fish!!
The kids all loved looking through the big windows.
One of the coolest parts of the aquarium is a tunnel you walk through...and the fish are above your head!
Jackson was quite brave and even tried to pet the rays.
I wanted to get the girls something to remember the aquarium by, so they both picked out a mermaid to take home. Violet was too tired to stop for a picture, but Audrey & I grabbed a moment to take a quick pic before we left.

Louise's ONLY request for the entire trip was that she get some fried chicken and sweet tea before she went home. :-) So, we headed to Mary Mac's for lunch. Anil and I hadn't been there since our rehearsal dinner! And it was so much fun to be there with all the kids...so much has changed in five years! Jackson loved the foo...he ate tons of mac 'n cheese, butter peas, green beans and sweet potato casserole. Yummy!!
Back at home, everyone was STILL tired, even after nap time (what a busy day!), but there's ALWAYS time for fun! Jackson followed his older cousin around and played "copy-cat," doing as she did...

Then he and Violet laughed at each other through the glass back doors.
