More Christmas Activities

We had a couple of "1sts" in the Christmas Activities department for Jackson this year!

While Mommy's been making Christmas cookies for years, this was the 1st time Jackson joined in. He LOVED working the big mixer and sifting the flour. :-)

Amazingly, things stayed relatively clean and in order!

After a few hours of work (let's be honest - Jackson only "helped" for about 15 minutes! Ha!), we had a bunch of yummy cookies to share with our friends and neighbors...

...and of course, to enjoy ourselves!!

We were even lucky enough to be the recipients of baked goodies from several of our neighbors. Jackson particularly enjoyed the chocolate & sprinkled covered marshmallows from Ms. April!

And this year, for the 1st time, Jackson got to go caroling with his neighborhood friends. SO much fun! We gathered for hot chocolate & smores first, and then it was time for some singing!

The kids picked some of their favorite decorated houses to sing for. Jackson especially enjoyed when they sang his favorite song - "Jingle Bells"!

 

 Jackson enjoyed stopped to admire some of the Christmas decorations along the way.

 

 I think the adults had just about as much fun as the kids did...we were so proud of them!
