DECEMBER FUN...

Yes, December is all about Christmas...decorating, making cookies, and wrapping/un-wrapping presents...But there's lots more to do, too!!

In early December, we had some gorgeous weather, so we were able to play outside more than normal. Jackson practiced his football skills (he IS from the South, where football is king, after all!) and we even had a little picnic in the backyard, complete with a bowl of carrots for Diva's lunch.

Diva got an early Christmas present...her very own car seat that buckles into the seat belt. We must keep our "other" baby safe!

We received the printouts of Jackson's fall school picture (he loved holding that apple)...

And then he posed for a much sillier picture at home...

We spent some quality time hanging out on the couch...

And we visited an ice cream parlor, where Jackson proceeded to eat all of his ice cream and then 1/2 of Daddy's milkshake!

A present for Mommy/Daddy came in the mail, thanks to our newly purchased Disney Annual Passes. It's now proudly displayed on our car and we can't wait until our next Disney trip in January!

Jackson's latest obsession with playing the violin began in early December and has only gained steam. He'll turn anything into a violin & bow!

Given his new-found love of violins, we decided to take him to the Atlanta Symphony's Kids Christmas concert. (Thanks to our friends there, we even scored comp tickets!) And the BEST surprise when we got there?! They had a "petting zoo" for instruments...including a violin just his size!!

He was standing on his seat...or one of us...the whole concert. He was so excited and kept pointing out all the instruments. It made his Mommy's heart full & her eyes well up with tears of happiness. :-)

We barely managed to wrangle him for a family photo after the concert. He was too full of excitement to be held!

On the way home, Jackson showed his silly side by putting his socks on his hands and laughing hysterically. Love this kid...

It was an awesome month of fun activities! Now on to the Christmas preparations!!
