Sunday, September 18, 2011: Jackson turns ONE!!!!! The day flew by, but many wonderful new memories were made.
Jackson started his day off with some present-opening. First up, an awesome new growth chart from Chachu, Chachi, Audrey & Violet. It's so cool & we can't wait to hang it up in Jackson's bedroom! At first, Jackson thought it was some sort of ladder and tried his best to climb it, which we thought was very amusing!
Then Grandma/Grandpa had a special present for Jackson...his very own Cabbage Patch doll. Now, he's just like his Chachu Rick! We can't wait to introduce Chachu to little "Maxwell" when he comes to visit in October! (We just have to make sure he doesn't steal Maxwell to take home and keep Bobby company!) For some reason, even though Jackson wants nothing to do with a regular pacifier, he thought it would be fun to suck on Maxwell's little pacifier...
Then it was time for a little fun outside with Aunt Wendy and his motorcycle...
After all that morning activity, it was time for a nap. A boy's gotta rest before a big party! After a nice, long, two hour nap, Jackson hung out upstairs for a little bit with Uncle Matt...just having "guy" talk (or so Mommy is told).
Before we knew it, it was time to get dressed for our guests who would be arriving soon! Aunt Wendy took a "glamor shot" of herself and Uncle Matt...
And Jackson and I stopped for a quick photo together.
Next up: the party!
