Monday was Jackson's 10-month birthday! It was a typical Monday for us. Daddy & Diva dropped Jackson off at school in the morning. (Yes, Diva's started making the morning trip to school and back home with Daddy.) She gets SO excited to get in the car with Daddy and Jackson in the morning...it's quite cute!
When we were all back home for the evening, we had our monthly photo shoot. They're getting MUCH harder these days as it's nearly impossible to keep Jackson still! We managed a total of only four photos on the chair before he climbed off. :-)
Jackson spent the next hour chasing Diva around upstairs and goofing off. He's into everything these days and it's amusing to just watch him go! It's a bit exhausting for Diva, though, as she expends a lot of energy making sure she's out of his grasp. :-)
New from the past month: Jackson's talking a LOT more, as evidenced by all the videos. It seems he discovers a new sound to make with his mouth every day. Right now, his favorite this is to click his tongue. He has 5 more teeth coming in, so that will make a total of 7! He's standing up great and cruising around the furniture, so we can only imagine that walking is coming soon (oh my!). He's eating tons of new foods and loves his sippy cup. He loves to give High 5's. And as you could see from our last post, he's starting to climb the stairs.
Here's a little video of him with his current favorite toy...a wooden spoon. Grandma gave it to him a few weekends ago and he's been playing with it ever since! And yes, that is some SERIOUS pathetic-ness at the end of the video when he realizes he can't get past the gate. Poor boy! :-)
