Jackson's 1st day of school

Today is Wednesday, January 26th...more importantly, it's the day Jackson started "school"! We were all up at 6:30 this morning to start the day and get him ready to go. Mommy packed his bag while Daddy got him fed & changed. He wore his special "My Auntie Is Awesome" (purchased by Aunt Wendy, of course) for his first day.

We were very excited to find him a place in one of the Primrose School outlets. They have an amazing reputation and we know he's going to learn SO much! They have a 4-1 student/teacher ratio (much better than anywhere else we looked), so he should get lots of attention.

Daddy dropped Jackson off for his first day...it's the opposite direction from Mommy's work, so it would be a long commute for her. Daddy took the camera along to get some photos so Mommy could see everything.

Jackson has his own cubby for all of his stuff...

And when Daddy left, Jackson was with his "bouncy seat posse" (as Daddy called it)...

The teachers said he did really well on his first day and didn't fuss much at all. Of course, when Daddy got there to pick him up, he was crying a bit...that was bound to happen after so many hours of activity! He fell asleep on the way home & took a 2 hour nap! Even though he was asleep, Diva greeted him with kisses. We think she actually missed her little brother!
