Christmas Afternoon and Evening

After an awesome brunch with the Ballances, we sat down to open presents.

MANY great presents were exchanged, including a new Keurig coffee maker for Mom (from me, Anil, Wendy & Matt), black Coach shoes for Wendy (from me), TONS of fabulous facial products for me (from Wendy), sport shirts from Matt's favorite soccer team all the way from England (from Wendy), a new edger for the yard for Anil (from me)...

And the gift I was most excited about (from my hubby): two-day passes to go to the Harry Potter Wizarding World in Orlando!! Anil hid them in a really cool pop-up Harry Potter book. I'm such a child; I know. :-)

Oh, and I have to post this video of a very cool gift Mom made Anil. She gave him some stuff from Starbucks, which he loved, but the really neat part is the box she made & put it all in. Anil said he has to talk to "his people" at Starbucks & sell this thing! (Yes, it's sad that he thinks he has "people" at Starbucks; he's there that much! HA!)

After a little rest during the afternoon, and despite all the snow on the ground (luckily, the plows had cleared the roads nicely), we headed to The Bohemian for a fancy dinner. We'd all decided we'd rather head out for dinner than spend an afternoon in the kitchen cooking.

Jackson was an angel; he ate his bottle at the beginning of dinner and then slept the rest of the night.

We had some fantastic food and drinks at dinner, made all the better by the company. It was the perfect ending to the perfect Christmas Day!
