Friday was a super-busy day. The girls headed off to get our nails done in the morning. The boys had wanted to go golfing, but it was pouring rain. :-( Mom & Charlotte were hard at work on the room (they did ALL of the flowers and decor... amazing!!) & Anil and Jason helped out TONS. Yea, boys!
It was a day full of finishing the favors, getting the table center-pieces ready to go, figuring out seating & lots more. Mom Malhotra and many others (including Wendy's friends Angela & Chad) were there for the whole afternoon helping us out. It was definitely a family affair, which made it even more fun.
Soon, it was time for the rehearsal. Wendy looked super-cute in her turquoise dress. And I got to be "the boss" (as Wendy called me) of the rehearsal. You know I love being the boss! :-)
The rehearsal dinner was ANOTHER awesome meal from the Dillard House. Tons of barbecue, fruits and yummy desserts.
Wendy & Matt handed out gifts...Anil was super-excited by the book he got: An autographed Bernie Goldberg book. (Bernie is a guest on Fox News a lot & Wendy does his makeup for it since he lives in Asheville!)
After dinner, it was back to the freezing cold room where Mom was working on the flowers. A lot of the family joined in again to help, so were were able to get things done quickly. Love my family time!
