We were so excited to have Bruce, Lisa, Clare & Alex visit us for a couple of days! It was their first time meeting Diva, who was SOOOO happy to have kids to play with! I've never seen Diva run around the house so much. The kids played hide & seek with her. And they brought a gift basket full of goodies for her!! Several new toys and new food/water dishes that are pink and say "Diva" on them. They are all so cute!!
We had a BIG time at the Aquarium on Monday (Anil & I took off from work). Alex was quite brave and joined his sister in touching a ray shark. I enjoy the Aquarium on my own, but it's always much more fun to go with kids. We were really hungry by the time we left, so we went to Craker Barrel, where Clare, Alex & I all enjoyed yummy pancakes.
Monday night, we introduced the family to the Wii. I think we might have created a new addiction! We played Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit AND Guitar Hero! I think there was at least 4-5 hours of play. Much fun! Clare was quite good at boxing (see the video below) and Bruce was fantastic at Guitar Hero!
Tuesday morning, they started on their long journey back home to Toronto. It was sadly quiet in the house when I came home from work that day. Diva slept all day, afternoon, & night. She had SUCH a good time, but I think my little girl's energy was drained. So funny!!
