Jackson was up bright and early to see if Santa had visited our house. And guess what? He did!! Although, Jackson seemed a little confused about where the cookies had gone. :-)
Santa has awesome manners, though, and left Jackson a thank you note for the yummies!
After a quick read of the thank you note, it was off to find the presents!
And wouldn't you know it...Santa left ANOTHER note for Jackson!
Diva quickly took charge and commandeered one of Jackson's little Santa bags...it sure was fun to toss that thing around!
In the meantime, Jackson ripped his way into his presents...
A new "Nemo" bath toy to replace the one that tragically broke a few weeks before...
A "BIG TRUCK"!! There's just something about little boys and big trucks...
Some "bristle blocks" - Mommy & Auntie had some of these as kids and LOVED them!
Then it was time for the BIG surprise! A piano! And not just any piano. This one used to be Mommy's when she was a little girl. Grandma "spruced" it up with a little sanding and polish. How special!
Jackson waved a quick "Thank you" to Santa's note in appreciation!
After opening all of Santa's gifts, there were still a few gifts left to open between our little family.
Jackson had made collages of his 2011 and 2012 artwork for Daddy (his Grandparents also got copies of the 2012 collages)...
Mommy gave Daddy a shirt with one of our favorite TV show (Big Bang Theory) quotes. Gotta love Sheldon & his "Bazinga"!
Among other things, Grandma gave Jackson some super-cute alligator slippers...so comfy & fuzzy!
One super-cool gift was from Grandma to Jackson (although, I think Daddy might steal it!). We're working on re-doing Jackson's bedroom into a "big boy room" with a space theme. And Grandma found an awesome mobile of the planets!!
Diva wasn't overlooked, of course! She got a special bone and some treats that she quickly dug into...
Then, it was time for stockings...
After all that gift-awesomeness, who would have thought there was MORE?! But there was! Grandma had a BIG surprise for Jackson up in his playroom.
WHOA! Look at that "BIG HOUSE"!
Jackson has had so much fun, dragging toys, books and even all of us into his house to play!
