When Caroline and Carson came up for Melanie's birthday party, they stayed a couple of extra nights. Wendy was here and my Mom & I took Monday off, so we had lots of fun time together!
Even though it was LATE when we got home from the party, the boys still didn't want to go to bed, so they hung out for a bit on Caroline/Carson's makeshift bed.
The next day, we all packed into the car and headed up to the outlet malls. (Well, all of us except Daddy, who stayed home and enjoyed some alone time.) It was a GORGEOUS day, and it was so nice to be outside! Jackson did lots of running around, so he needed a few drink breaks.
While the boys weren't too interested in the shopping, they DID love riding/playing in a toy car we found.
Jackson thought it was especially funny when Grandma started making "vroom-vroom' sounds...That night, we sent Caroline upstairs for a long, candlelit bath in our jacuzzi tub, accompanied by a glass of wine, of course! She never gets very much time to herself, so we wanted her to at least have an hour. :-)
In the meantime, we fed the boys dinner and then it was bath-time. It was definitely a two-person job, but it was fun to watch the boys play.
After bath-time, Aunt Wendy and Jackson spent a little time playing with her iPad. Jackson's really good at hitting things on it! :-)
The next day, we all went to IKEA for some MORE shopping. Then it was time to say goodbye to most of our guests. Caroline & Carson headed back to Monticello. And Grandma went home to Conyers. (Thankfully, Aunt Wendy stayed for 2 more days! Yay!) Thanks, everyone, for spending a long weekend at our home...hope you all had a great time!
