We had such a fun weekend at Grandma's house!! We went early Friday afternoon, so we could be there when Grandma got home. When she got there, Jackson showed her how he likes to play ball.
Jackson stayed in Grandma's room both Friday & Saturday nights so his parents could sleep in a little...what a nice treat! On Saturday, I went to get my hair cut while Jackson enjoyed a late breakfast with Grandma & Daddy, and then had some silly time with his bib.
Saturday was really all about getting projects done around Grandma's house. She's been SO helpful getting our yard fixed up; we owed her! We put new air vent covers on, moved furniture around, cleaned out some of the attic...Lots more to do, but it felt good to get started! Even with all that work, Jackson still found plenty of time to be silly with Grandma...
Sunday was all about FUN! There's a pumpkin patch/petting zoo about 20 minutes from Grandma's house. We started by taking pictures in the little cut-outs. Jackson thought they were so funny...we could barely pull him away from them!
When we DID finally manage to tear him away, we checked out some of the pre-picked pumpkins. Some of them were bigger than Jackson!
They had a little train ride that Daddy and Jackson tried out. Jackson seemed a little confused at first, but had warmed up by the end of the ride.
We also walked around the actual pumpkin patch and took some family photos.
But Jackson's FAVORITE part was definitely the petting zoo! We've never heard him laugh so much!! I can only imagine how much he will love The Animal Kingdom when we go next January! Here he is with the bunny rabbit.
And some video of him feeding the animals. Priceless!!
After all that excitement, he was exhausted...
Thanks, Grandma, for having the awesome idea to go to the pumpkin patch!!
