Weekend of fun

We had a great weekend at home together! We didn't get much done since most of our time was spent chasing Jackson around, but it sure was fun! Oh, since you'll probably notice in some of these pictures and videos...yes, Jackson is drooling like crazy (he's got a mouthful of teeth coming in!) and he's "talking" (loudly!) up a storm.

Saturday began with some solo play-time for Jackson while Mommy & Daddy enjoyed their coffee. It's so nice to watch him sit and play by himself...we often wonder what all is going through that mind of his! Jackson took an earlier than normal morning nap, so Daddy and Diva spent some quality time together on the back porch.


But soon Jackson was back up and trying to figure out how to get out onto the back porch himself...


After his nap, Jackson was full of energy and ready to PLAY. He loves hanging out under the table and playing with the chairs...


As you can see from this video, it can get very loud when he's having fun!

On Sunday morning, Jackson woke up ready to go! He didn't have the patience to sit and drink his bottle, so he ate it little by little while "on the go." Crazy boy!


We found him a big play mat at Costco on Saturday, so we put it down and Jackson loved pulling out his toys and playing on it.


Since Jackson loves playing with my wooden spoon, Daddy thought he'd try out another kitchen utensil. It's my soup stirrer, but Daddy called it Jackson's Harry Potter wand. :-)

To finish off this post about our weekend, here's a video of something VERY exciting! Jackson's 1st attempts at standing on his own! They don't last too long, but he's on his way!
