Father's Day 2011

Sunday was our very first Father's Day with Jackson! He woke up really early, so we brought him into bed with us (and Diva) and he fell back asleep for quite awhile. It was the perfect way to spend the early morning...all together in bed.

While Anil fed Jackson his morning bottle, I made pancakes with fresh blueberries. I had a star-shaped mold that I used, and I attempted to make some heart-shaped pancakes, but they were a little messy. :-)

Daddy got a card from Jackson...

And a card from Diva...

And then we all sat down for breakfast together.

After breakfast, we headed out to Costco...one of our favorite places! We had to pick up Anil's present. I had one of our favorite family photos blown up onto a wrap-around canvas. It turned out great!

Anil spent the rest of the day enjoying the U.S. Open (golf) and doing some landscaping work.

On Monday morning, Jackson's school hosted a "Donuts for Daddy" breakfast in honor of Father's Day. They took this cute picture and sent it to me. I'm sure Jackson will be sharing in the donuts this time next year!
