More 1sts for Jackson

The past month has been full of more 1sts for our little (but growing!) man. In mid-March, we had our 1st St Patrick's Day together. Of course, we had to get Jackson all dressed up in green for school that day!

He's been trying LOTS of new foods lately...and we haven't found a single one he doesn't like yet! His teachers tell us that everyone wants to feed Jackson his "solids" at school because he gets SOOO excited about them! Just a couple of weeks ago, he tried his 1st rice biscuit. He's still not quite sure what he thinks about it (he makes very weird faces, but he keeps eating it!), but he's doing a really good job moving his job around, acting like he's chewing...so that's all that matters for now!

Sadly, we also had a scary "1st" a couple of weeks ago when we ended up at the Children's Hospital with his temperature at 104.5...not fun for any of us! Luckily, the nurses & doctors at Scottish Rite are the BEST and he was taken care of very quickly and he's back to our healthy, smiling baby!

He's gotten MUCH better at sitting up on his own (with a little support) lately, so last week, we tried sitting him in his pack & play, surrounded by his toys. We're happy to report that he played for more than 30 minutes on his own, and he's continued to do so since then...YAY!! While we certainly love playing with him, it's also nice to know that we can leave him to play on his own!
