We spent a wonderful 3 days with Wendy and Mom for Thanksgiving. It was our first all together, so it was even more special than usual. Wendy came home on Tuesday night (and stayed until Friday morning), so we made sure we were at Mom's house to greet her. She was tired after a long drive, but she STILL took "Jackson duty," taking care of him all night long. It was a great treat for me & Anil because we got to sleep for quite awhile!
The next night (Wednesday), Mom took "Jackson duty," so we got ANOTHER night of sleep. We were quite spoiled!

There are lots of traditions in Stephanie's family for Thanksgiving, including cranberry bread for breakfast AND watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. By the time the parade started, Jackson had already eaten and fallen back asleep, but we still got his picture with the TV screen at the start of the parade. :-)

Soon it was time to head to Monticello for lots of quality time with our extended family. We were blessed that Allan and Terrie came this year, too. Allan carved the turkey and Terrie had lots of snuggling time with Jackson. Diva met Grandma's new dog, Pookie, for the first time...she didn't like that very much. Pookie is a boy and chased her around. :-)
We had LOTS of good food as usual. Grandma's dressing, Suzanne's sweet potato pie, green bean casserole, mac & cheese, a turkey cooked by Lamar, and of course, tons of crescent rolls and desserts!

We had a mini-photo shoot with Caroline & Carson, too. Here are some of our favorite photos from the rest of the day...
