Happy 1-month to Jackson!

Yesterday, October 18th, was Jackson's one-month "birthday." Where has time gone?! Our little boy is growing up already...At his doctor's appointment yesterday he weighed 8 lbs 5 oz and was 20.5 inches tall (up from 5 lbs 15 oz and 19 inches when we left the hospital!).

We got these awesome "month" stickers from a family friend, Jane Kinnett. We can't wait to use them in his pictures every month! We took some very cute & funny photos to commemorate his birthday...it's hard for me to just pick a few favorites, but here they are.






The Mickey Mouse is from cousin Melanie. We thought it would be good to use each month so you can see how much he grows in comparison!















We also stood Jackson up against one of our doors and marked his height, too. This is in honor of my Daddy. When we were growing up, our Grandma Arthur would mark our heights on a door in her house. She'd done the same with our Dad as he had grown up in that house. One of our biggest regrets is that we didn't take that door with us after she passed away and we sold the house. But we're starting a new tradition with Jackson...we'll just have to buy any future owner of our home a new door! :-)

We also took what we think is a very funny video of Jackson on his glider...he can't QUITE hold himself up at the end...HA!
