It was a BIG birthday weekend for us. We spent all day Saturday painting/ staining our fence. We quit in time to get ready for dinner at Pura Vida. The chef there is one of the Top Chef contestants this year...It was spectacular! Latin American tapas. Still dreaming of the plantains covered in chipotle honey...and the empanadas served w/ sugar cane vinegar. They were heaven.

Then it was on to Caitlin's house for her big 40th Birthday celebration. She was radiant and I can never believe how big her little girl, Sophie, is getting! Caitlin got a fancy new bike as a present from many in the group of friends. Her friend Kerry made a beautiful scrapbook of well-wishes & pictures that all of her friends had sent in via email... She did an amazing job on it.

Today, we drove to Conyers/ Covington for Grandma's 89th Birthday. After we dropped Diva off at Mom's house, it was on to Stevie B's Pizza to meet the whole family. It's so funny that it's her favorite place to go for her b-day. I think this was the 4th year in a row we've been there! They have EVERY kind of pizza imaginable... from cheese to baked potato to bbq chicken.

It was fun to spend time with Caroline, Jason, Charlotte & the whole family. Mel & Neil even made it back from Alabama, where they'd been visiting for Neil's Mom's birthday yesterday.
On the way home, I got the sweetest new picture of Diva, so I just had to share... Can't believe the weekend is already gone!!
