Diva, Diva, Diva

Diva is certainly the joy of our lives. Last week, she "helped" me bake some goodies for Father's Day. She was a little unhappy to discover that after all that "help," she wasn't able to share in eating the goodies. :-) But we did give her a little yogurt to enjoy that night. It was her 2nd Father's Day and she gave her Daddy a sweet card...she feels very lucky to have such a perfect Daddy.

We also captured her nightly "ritual" with me on video. Every night when I come home from work, she races me to the top of the stairs, waiting for me with one of her toys. She's gotten very good at giving me kisses & giving me "five" when I ask...unless she's TOO over-excited. Then it's hard for her to focus. :-)


Last week, a friend of ours made some home-made treats and brought some for Diva...very exciting! But she can be bad about just eating her treats (and not her regular food). So we decided to try putting them at the bottom of her food bowl. As you can see from the video, though, she found a way around that...Gotta love a smart dog!!
