Hi all! We had a great Valentine's weekend. Anil & I had decided to not do a normal "fancy" night out. Instead, we went for one of our favorite meals...hamburgers & french fries! But not just any old burgers & fries. There is a new "gourmet" burger place in town where you pick your favorite ingredients off this crazy menu. Anil's somewhat of a burger "traditionalist" so he ended up with grilled onions, black olives & roasted red peppers with jack cheese.
I went a different route with scallions, corn & black bean salsa, homemade guacamole & jack cheese. Super yummy! Even better, they have different side options. We went for 1/2 sweet potato fries and 1/2 onion straws. It was so much fun and a nice break from our regular V-day plans. We went earlier in the day before the dinner rush so we could be home at night to spend it with Diva...it was her first V-day with us!
Diva is getting so funny about wanting to be up on the bed at the 1st of each night...even if she doesn't stay there the whole night. She NEVER barks, but if we ignore her "begging" to come up on the bed, well, she gets a little frustrated as you can see in this video...It's so funny and makes us laugh and laugh.
